I always wonder at some folks' dislike of public broadcasting, as though it's somehow intrinsically wrong for the public sector to ensure balanced collection of information. To my mind, the BBC is one of the things that marks Britain as the acme of civilization.

I'm really enjoying a 6 parter ATM on the Ancient World by the BBC. Worth every penny of my licence money.
