Just the Facts

This is all over the place, but not, it seems, on any mainstream media outlet.

If they won't call out Republican bullshit, then we'll do their job for them.

He's great!

I do love it how politicians can be made to look stupid because they forget that everything they've ever said is on tape somewhere ready to be used against them!

That is beautiful. I wonder if the MSM reporters realize that they are all worthless bags of shit that wouldn't know a story if it hit 'em between the eyes.

It's funny and it's sad that again and again the Daily Show exposes all of the political hypocrisy while all of our "news" networks suck at the teat of the White House.

Amen. I think these bozos have been getting a free pass for eight years plus. How it is that Clinton gets impeached for lying about a blow job and we can't get these guys for their criminal behavior is absolutely beyond me.

That is absolutely fabulous!

Every time a Republican flack opened his or her mouth after the Palin announcement it seemed that they were forgetting everything they had ever uttered on these subjects before.

My favorite was the whole topic of 'experience'. For weeks we've heard over and over how Obama lacks the necessary experience to be President, and then John shoots his campaign in the foot by selecting a VP with essentially zero experience. Then, to make things even more absurd, after a couple of days of press comments about Palin's experience I actually heard a GOP handler saying that they were no longer willing to answer questions about Palin's experience because the press were just picking on her. I can understand leaving her pregnant daughter alone, but what could be more appropriate to discuss than a candidate's experience?

I love the clip, but it saddens me that in these times the National Enquirer, blogs, and The Daily Show are more reliable news sources than anything in the mainstream media.

Yeah, I can't argue with you there. I think everybody's angle here is to entertain, and Jon Stewart has the best possible source material.

But his audience is a small, select group, and the population at large has been numbed by eight years of mind-numbing corruption and lies and spin and bullshit. It takes an entertainer to cut through the numbness, apparently.

That bit was classic. Sums up the hypocricy so well in just under six minutes. I especially love O'Reilly's views on teen pregnancy. I couldn't stop laughing after that part came on...

These people must assume we all have a 6-second attention span and . . . what was I talking about? Never mind.
