I can't help thinking, as my neighbor reminded me, that Palin's daughter--pregnant at 17, just as Palin herself began her mothering life--represents the perfect exposé of what "abstinence only" sex 'education' will get us. Like everything else that religion touches.

It is truly ironic. I guess we finally have a chance to elect someone who's just like the neighbor nextdoor--with all her screaming disfunctional kids, supersitious views from another century, and husband who's idea of manliness is holding the throttle on high while snowmobiling. America's truly becoming a caricature of itself.
