I've decided that any further thoughts on Sam Harris's book will be appended to the end of
this post. I can't help thinking that people are more likely to be permanently scared away if I shoo them away
repeatedly. So I'll try and keep it to a minimum.
Meanwhile, I promise more puppy pictures as time allows!

I'm going to see American Dreamz this Thurday, I think. Your perfect movie hasn't made it to Camel City yet.
Hey, Wunelle- did you see the F1 race this past weekend? It's the first time I've ever seen Michael win a race. And I heard the rumor that Kimi is going to join Ferrari. How do you feel about that?
I don't have any idea what Sue Ellen is talking about.
I really like that picture though. It's perfect for the post. ;-)
Esbee--hit the video store; the movie is from 2002. I've been reliving via the DVD. (Let me know what you think if you see it.)
SEM--I actually missed the race this weekend, being stuck in the hinterlands of KY. But I kept up on the web.
Michael winning a race is the most common result of the modern era of F1, even if Ferarri had a bad year last year. I think MS is a really worthy champion and we will likely never again in our lifetimes see his brand of domination in racing. He is a phenom.
But I think Kimi is the tier right below him (the tier where most previous great champions have lived) and has the stuff to be world champion. I think he WILL go to Ferarri, as McLaren is just not quite giving him the car (it's fast, but unreliable). He has proven that he can do the deed, but there's only so much weakness in the car he can make up for.
Do you have a favorite?
QL--I'm all about happy posts! (Most of the time, anyway.)
With some glasses and a little less 'hair' that water tower would bear a striking resemblance to our jolly host.
Maybe Lizzie can find a water tower that resembles her and finally satisfy all the folks dying to know what she looks like.

So you don't think she looks like Angelina Jolie? (For my part, I've seen her chest and heard her voice--that's all I care about!)
(Please know I'm kidding.)
Well, I only know as much asmy BF tells me about F1. I happen to think Alonso has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, but that doesn't mean I like him. I like Michael. I'm a Cubs fanm so when I get a chance to pick a winner with no regard for what city a team is from, I pick the best.
My wife calls Alonso "my hottie" and cannot see him in a press conference or wherever without saying "my GOD he's beautiful." But she always roots for the underdog among the top three or four. Lately it's Kimi, but not because I like him. He's just had such bad luck now for a season and a half.
But it's torture to listen to Kimi speak. Stick to driving the car, Kimi.
